All parents want for their child at school is to be happy and engaged. Our school system has been constantly evolving to ensure the best educational outcomes for the students. For gifted students, this does not always seem to fit the standard age-determined program. The issues surrounding the acceleration of gifted students are many and this event will serve to answer your questions regarding the best fit for your gifted child.

-       Are there different forms of acceleration?

-       How is the decision to accelerate made?

-       When is acceleration not recommended?

-       Will my accelerated child fit in socially?
