Australia has some of the world’s most unusual mammals, from our unique monotremes, the platypus and echidna, to our great diversity of marsupials like wombats, possums, bettongs and bandicoots, to placental mammals like bats, rats, mice and more. Come along and discover more about mammals and meet a range of different species in real life. Did you know that one third of all our marsupials are carnivorous... you'll meet a couple! You'll also meet one of the world's biggest burrowing animals and a mini kangaroo smaller than a rabbit! There will also be the mammal with the shortest pregnancy in the world and possums that fly... well almost. It'll be a marvellous mammalian menagerie.
