Architecture combines the application of art, mathematics and science to design solutions for human problems with the primary goal of improving our quality of life in our built environment.  This workshop will focus on the practical experiences and understanding of the process and elements of architecture. Children will be presented with concepts surrounding the building blocks of architecture, including: belonging and ownership; use of colour & design; furnishings and objects to personalise their design space. The students will go on an exploration of form, colour, function, texture, pattern, movements and climate. An excellent starting point for budding designers and architects!
