Many schools have qualified psychologists on their staff to assist with student wellbeing, future goal setting and career advice and testing that may be required.
There are times when a psychologist may not be available or suitable for the purposes of testing for giftedness. The website provided here is the search page from the Australian Psychological Society. Here you can search for psychologists who live within reasonable distance from your home. Before using their services, it is best to check whether they have ever worked with gifted children and are comfortable with various ability tests. Discuss with them your reasons for testing and what information is required - also, who would be the audience for any further discussions.
